Those of you on this list with adult children struggling with housing know this already but now you can see the actual figures. 

How many hours do you have to work (by state) to afford a modest 2 bedroom unit? Click on a state and you’ll get the breakdown of wages, hours, and cost. When I was growing up; it took approximately one week per month to pay your rent. Now, check out how the poor are getting squeezed further down into poverty or become simply, homeless.
