[Occupymendocino] Second Tuesday

The next Second Tuesday community meeting will take place  at Town Hall in
Fort Bragg (Main and Laurel Streets) on July 14 at 6 p.m. This meeting will
focus on Mike Sweeney's garbage Transfer Station, proposed for construction
three miles up Highway 20. The Board of Supervisors and City Council will
vote on the matter the following Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at 1:30 in the
afternoon, a most inconvenient time for people who work.  

 

Second Tuesday meetings focus on issues important to community residents.
For example, the Hare Creek project, Georgia Pacific's mill site, business
opportunities , health care, and forestry practices are among the suggested
topics for future meetings.



We meet monthly at Town Hall. Come help us shape the future of the Mendocino
coast.
