We have a big fu*king problem. Period.
In the past four days during the extended Fourth of July holiday weekend, police in Los Angeles County shot and killed five different people in five different incidents across the county.

In the United Kingdom, zero people were shot and killed by police in all of 2013. Mind you, the UK, with a population of nearly 65,000,000, has 5x the population of Los Angeles County.

Before you start talking about how many guns the United States has, these police killings in Los Angeles weren't a bunch of shootouts.

Johnny Ray Anderson was completely unarmed and struggling with homelessness alongside his wife when he was shot and killed by police. His wife, Kathleen, stated he posed no threat to the officer whatsoever.
