On February 7th, the California climate movement is showing up in force on
Governor Jerry Brown’s doorstep, Oakland, CA to let
him know he is not a climate leader if he continues to
allow the rapid expansion of oil and gas industry in California.



Amidst the worst drought in California history, water intensive oil
and gas extraction, promoting fracking, and shipping in tar sands from
Canada and oil from the Bakken shale is not climate leadership, it’s
more of the same shortsighted fossil fuel status quo.



By turning out thousands in Oakland, we’re showing our power to unite
during this historic drought and put Governor Jerry Brown’s climate
legacy on the line. The March for Real Climate Leadership is inviting
communities and organizations across the movement to say loud and
clear -- Our water, our health and our California come first.
