> South Coast People For Peace & Justice invite everyone to join us for a May Day Demonstration in downtown Gualala on May Day, Friday, May 1st, at noon, in front of the Gualala Post Office.
> May Day is not just about maypoles. It has been an International Workers Holiday since 1886, its origin being the fight for an eight-hour work day and other rights for workers. It is celebrated in most countries all over the world, but its real meaning has been largely forgotten here in the US. It is a day for activists to come together for Peace and Justice, against all wars and to stand in solidarity with workers worldwide.
> Please join us in honoring Workers Rights, for World Peace, an end to police brutality, terrorism, militarism, and racial profiling,  Palestinian Human Rights, land rights and civil rights, and the rights of all other oppressed peoples worldwide, an end to all ongoing wars, and to stand for Human Rights and Justice for all people. Join us on Friday, May 1st in Gualala. Everyone is welcome, especially Young People.
