Dear Fair-Minded People,

I am writing tonight to ask you to consider attending tomorrow night’s Monday night City Council meeting.  Once again someone has sent out a request for people to show up and ask for City Manager Linda Ruffing to be fired.  A month ago these same people packed Town Hall under the pretense of asking the City Council to support Police Chief Scott Mayberry. 

At that meeting Chief Mayberry, via a friend reading his letter, resigned.  We are all sad to see the Chief go and wish he would have chosen to stay, continue the good work he and his team have accomplished and work with Human Resources, the City Manager and our City Attorney to achieve the goals he had established.

I am asking you to show up at 6:00PM Monday night at Town Hall and by your presence create a balance to those who are seeking a good woman’s head.  Please help balance the noise.
