To Department of Conservation,
As a CA resident horrified by the fast tracking of fracking ie "well stimulation treatment", I urge you to halt the process until this severe historic drought ends.
In this time of increasing water scarcity, using well water for anything other than direct human necessity like home use & agriculture is unconscionable. The people of California are being asked if not forced to conserve, if they are fortunate enough to still have water. My household lives under threat of fines if we exceed our small allotment.

I have no reason to believe that fracking does not contaminate the aquifer involved. There is abundant evidence that chemical contamination almost impossible to "clean up." Everywhere, energy companies have not proved to act responsibly for their damage.

I do not find any provision in your regulation that protects wells near frack sites & the people who use them. Notification of residents within 1500 feet  is not enough when they cannot effectively object.. 
Please remember you are employed by the People of California. Your responsibility is to the citizen taxpayers, not to the corporations exploiting our natural resources.
