[Occupymendocino] CA Dept. of Conservation (sic) regulations regarding fracking

  Dear Occupy,
      The proposed regulations sent out by CA Department of Conservation
(sic) regarding "Well Stimulation Treatment,"  i.e., fracking, are
terrible. As many people as possible should send comments before Oct. 29 to
 DOGGRRegulations at conservation.ca.gov   .   People should 1.  protest the
use of scarce water for fracking.   2.  Protest the probable contamination
of the aquifer by the fracking   3.  Protest that, although neighbors
within1500 feet must be notified about the fracking,  there is no provision
for them to object and prevent the fracking, which will probably do
irreparable  harm to their and their children's health and to their
drinking water, as is the case in North Dakota.  You can also request a
copy of the regulations:  SB 4 WELL STIMULATION TREATMENT REGULATIONS.  But
the deadline for comments is Oct. 29.
