Because he said that gun violence is a public health problem?  I thought that was obvious. According to the CDC there were 11,068 gun deaths in the U.S. http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/fastats/homicide.htm
How does that stack up against the number of cases of Ebola in the U.S.? The world?
So far, the WORLD DEATH TOLL from Ebola is 4877.

I just took action to urge the Senate to stand up to the NRA and confirm Dr. Vivek Murthy as Surgeon General.
