[Occupymendocino] Huffman and fracking

Dear Richard and all,
Huffman is on board against fracking. Carrie, Meg, and I brought our petitions to the gathering and everyone there signed on.

He gave an interesting talk and then answered questions. I was impressed with him (I had originally voted for Solomon, not Huffman). He’s smart and relaxed and progressive. We have a good representative in Congress.

I asked Huffman, since clean water is a big issue for him, what’s the word in Washington regarding fracking (he had been talking about issues that both the left and right could agree on). Unfortunately, he said there’s a lot of support for fracking in Washington. We have our work cut out for us.

Jared Huffman is visiting FB tomorrow, at 10am, to St. Michael's Church.
He's running for reelection and needs to hear our voices about issues like fracking.
