Senator Barbara Boxer
112 Hart Senate Office Bldg.
Washington, D.C. 20510

Dear Senator Boxer,

I am your constituent and urge you to co-sponsor S 1782. This bill would
create single payer national health plan in which Medicare and
supplemental insurance would be rolled into one and a card would be given
at a person's birth instead of 65 years later.
We would not be required to choose a doctor based on who is in our
plan's "network". Pill prices will come down closer to what they
are in Canada. It will be impossible to go bankrupt or be evicted
just because of medical bills.
People will get care because they need it , rather than only when they can
afford it or "qualify" for it.

It costs less to cover everyone than to cover only some.
A lot of our taxes, premiums,co-pays and deductibles go to support the
processes, and pay for the consequences of saying no to sick people in
need.

Some doctors say that fifty countries have better life expectancy than we
do, even though we spend twice as much per person on health care as the
seven wealthy countries who cover everyone, even though we have some of
the world's best doctors and hospitals.

I urge you to co-sponsor S. 1782.

Sincerely,
