In one week, voters in Washington will decide whether or not to label genetically engineered foods in their state. This is a huge opportunity — it would be the first law of its kind in the U.S., finally giving consumers the right to know what's in the food we're eating. But the polls are close, and we need your help to win this.

Labeling GE ingredients, just like we label fat, sugar and calorie content, seems like a no-brainer. But Monsanto and the big food companies are pouring millions of dollars into efforts to confuse voters. That's why Washington needs your help.

The most important thing we can do is contact voters in Washington to help them understand the issue, and encourage them to get out to vote. Can you make calls from your phone tomorrow night to help get out the vote in Washington State?

Tomorrow night, we're having a training with volunteers across the country and making calls together from 7 to 9 p.m. EST. Sign up to join us!

If you can't make the coordinated phone bank tomorrow night, it's easy to make calls on your own. All you need is a phone and a computer, and you can make calls any time between 10 a.m. and 9 p.m. Pacific time. There's a short training and a call script, and then you can start calling. Get started.
