Present: Linda, Daniel, Russ, Mark & Sheila
 Facilitator & Secretary: Sheila
Updates: Linda spoke on the interviewing process that will result in new people being announced as those selected for Senior Center Board of Director seats at the next Board meeting on Friday, Nov. 1st.
There are two ad hoc advisory committees that sit in on the interviews, composed of three people each. They do not ask questions. Their job is to provide feedback to the current Board on those who are interviewed. Two people were interviewed on the 15th, four more still to go and two applications still to be processed as of last week.
The last interview will be next Tuesday with the Board having its election selection by the next day, Wednes.
Publicity: Sheila told of the planned events of those members of the foreclosure committee( Agnes, Jessie, Sheila) to publicize the efforts to have a Charter County proposal put on the 2014 ballot.
On Monday, the 21st , the group along with Ed Oberweiser and Robin Sunbeam, planned to meet( and did) in Philo to dicuss, review and make additional changes to the draft charter.
Agnes, Jessie, Robin & Sheila were scheduled to speak on KZYX's Women's Voices show at 7 P.M. hosted by Val Mulhowski.
On the following day, members of OM were sceduled to be on KNYO 107.7 (John Fletcher's show) at 3 P.M. to also discuss the need for a Public Bank and a County Charter.
Sheila said she would follw up on an Email to Carmel Angelo to see what plan she had come up with to get an audit of county property records to detect fraudulent foreclosures.

The meeting was lightly attended due to prior obligations of several members.
Discussion took place on whether it was worth $20 for the price of the Senior Center  meeting room when so few attended. Alternatives of the Library or someone's home were suggested.
Sheila noted that attendance at the Direct Protest on Friday's in front of the Banks on Main St. was also diminished. Discussion on whether to switch to once a month first Friday meetings will be on the next agenda-- time change and weather being additional concerns.

Other topics discussed were sending an Email to Phil Ting of S.F. to ask that he introduce a bill requiring a state Certificate of Authenticity on property transfers and how to brainstorm methods to get new people interested in OM's work. We will need more people to educate the public on the public bank and charter issues.
Linda mentioned knowing a real estate agent in Anderson Valley who was attempting to put together refinancing for people who couldn't get it done through the banks but didn't have enough clients.
Sheila said she will pursue Emailing the Atty. General's office to find out which state agencies are distributing the 25 billion agreemrnt won from the baks for illegal procedures involving foreclosures.
Daniel discussed the J.P. Morgan Chase settlement of 13 billion. Who gets this money?

Next meeting:  Sat. Nov 2nd at Senior Center 2-4P.M. New people welcome!
