The Expanded and Improved
Medicare for All Act

Please Call Congress on Friday, October 18 in support of HR 676, the Expanded and Improved Medicare for All Act. We want to increase the number of co-sponsors. Call the congressional switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and ask for your representative by name. You can find your representative by entering your zip code at this link.

HR 676 has 51 co-sponsors in the current 113th session of Congress in addition to initial sponsor John Conyers (D-MI). That list of current co-sponsors is here.

Fifteen national and state organizations, including
Physicians for a National Health Program (PNHP), Single Payer Now, Healthcare Now, and the All Unions Committee for Single Payer Health Care HR 676 are calling Congress this week in support of HR 676, Expanded and Improved Medicare for All.

The call in day was initiated by Progressive Democrats of America (PDA).

Passage of HR 676 would bring all medically necessary care, including dental, drugs, and long term care, to every person in the United States.

HR 676 would remove the insurance industry from our lives.

HR 676 would spend our resources wisely, whereas the health insurance bureaucracy wastes 31 cents of every healthcare dollar. Each person will choose their physicians and hospitals, and there will be no deductibles and no co-pays.
