Hi All,
A word from the wise Rachel Binah re lobbying two or three board
members one-on-one before the meeting to sound out where they
stand on the issue,of rent. This was reported to me by Rachel B.
who is also a member of TM. She said the Toast Masters use the
room for free and donate $100.00 at the end of the year. Maybe we
could lobby members to allow us the same arrangement.

We have a week or two to find time and a board member to ask if we
could have the same arrangement. She advised we send gray haired
persons to do the speaking. Who would be willing to talk to
B.Bushansky, or Syd Ballows or Claire Boudreau or even Richard Miller
before the meeting?

Agnes

> Senior Center room rental: We currently pay $20 per meeting. (Oops, we

> It was noted that the Senior Center exercise class, singing group,

> Publicity/County Charter/Public Banking/Ending Foreclosures: Ellen

>
> Motion passed to fund publicity for this event in the amount of $50.

> Ellen Brown will be on Val Muchowsky?s Women?s Voices Dec. 2 to

>
> We need people to make goodies to sell at Crown Hall; the rent is $75.
> Sheila to contact Syd to see if he will organize people to donate the
> desserts.
>
> We will also bring Occupy hats and tee shirts to sell at the event.
>
> Mark will contact KZYX re: PSA.

>
> We would like to have the county charter be on the June 2014 ballot.
> We?ll need to do outreach to community groups like Rotary,
> Soroptimists, etc.
>
> Sheila emailed Carmel Angelo re: audit in county assessor?s office.
> She also contacted Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regarding the
> money from the Homeowner?s Bill of Rights, which should have gone to
> state agencies and then to the foreclosed homeowners themselves. She
> asked: how do people apply for restitution? 2,500 people lost their

>
> Robin Sunbeam is running for Mendocino County Assessor on the June

> Paul Cienfuegos: Charles Cresson Wood asked if Occupy will co-sponsor

> weekend, February 16. Motion passed for OM to co-sponsor the workshop.
> Linda volunteered to work on it.

> Film forum: Sheila to stop by KNYO and talk to Sean about setting up a
> Friday film. An Occupy film might be best to begin the film series.
>
> Street rally: Attendance has increased since we discussed cutting down

>
> Occupy listserv: How should the listserve be used? After a discussion,

> worldwide events. There are enough other venues for worldwide events.
> It?s still an effective way of connecting to the public.
>
> OM Facebook: Daniel is now posting on Facebook. Thank you, Daniel.
>
> Tee shirts: Agnes discussed making new tee shirts with ?We Are Working
> for You?Occupy? on the front and a list of our accomplishments on the
