Dear Friends of OCCUPY.MENDOCINO! ~

First of all, BIGFAT THANK YOU to Fellow Worker Richard Karch! for
forwarding my letter RE: my upcoming trip to Ft. Meade, Md. to witness the
Bradley Manning Court-martial. I shall be in attendance at Your Saturday
meeting and will make an effort to be with You all on Friday as well!
Transportation is not real easy for me these days ~ if anyone from
Westport is reading this & would like to offer me a ride, I am including
my phone number!

I shall be DRAWING the first week of the trial, working with a fine legal
writer, Bill Simpich, Esq. Our previous collaborations include reporting
on the military trial of Lt. Ehren Watada in in 2008,for TruthOut, as well
as the Judi Bari vs. FBI victory & more (see letter)...

I am appealing to You and casting as wide a circle of interest as
possible, to raise more operating funds for this project. I am in need of
restocking my tools and supplies (e.g.~ new eyeglasses}, paying my
utilities at home, while I am in Ft. Meade, etc...

We all know about 'activist work'!! Unlike commercial endeavour ~ one
usually has to pay to do it! Or work TWICE {once to do the actual work,
and again to raise $$$ to get paid!) We have ALL been so damaged by
Capitalism! Five years ago, the standard pay for a "non-activist"
courtroom artist was $500./per day! I'm mentioning this for perspective,
folks!

Please tell as many people as possible about this project! RSN is an OPEN
SOURCE News Service & our work will be available to local Media outlets!
Anyone who can help facilitate this is invited to contact me & help set
this up!
