[Occupymendocino] Bradley Manning trial: Note from Kay Rudin

Dear MENDOCINO / FORT BRAGG OCCUPANTS! ~
 
Many of You are familiar with my courtroom art. Since the turn of this Century, my Work has been published nationally, illustrating several Significant Environmental and Civil Rights  cases: JUDI BARI v. FBI,    HEADWATERS FOREST DEFENDERS ~   PEPPERSPRAY II & III,  U.S. ARMY v. EHREN WATADA, U.S.A. v. DR. TOD MIKURIYA, and the OREGON GREEN SCARE CASES.
 
In early June, I shall be traveling to Ft. Meade, Maryland to draw the Federal Court martial of PFC. BRADLEY MANNING, for Reader Supported News (RSN). I am very excited and honoured to be able to witness this pivotal case. A brave whistleblower (and Nobel Peace Prize Nominee), PFC. Manning is fighting for HIS LIFE!   On trial here, as well,  are Freedom of Information, Military Transparency, and our entire system of Jurisprudence.
 
I am dismayed at how the Media has been largely silent concerning this case. It is important that the events and images in this courtroom be PUBLIC : FRONT PAGE PUBLIC!
 
I am sure that Most of You Occupiers are familiar with the details of this case, the shocking videos and documents, revealed through WIKILEAKS, allegedly by Manning.
I won’t rehash them here.
 
I am writing to ask You for Your help in this endeavor. RSN has provided initial support for legal writer, Wm. Simpich, Esq. & myself: airfare, credentials, & transport, and of course, a (n inter-)national platform to disseminate our reportage.
