Subject: TPP Days of Action this Saturday & Beyond
Dear Ann:
This month, people on four continents are taking coordinated action in their communities to shine a light on the disastrous potential consequences of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), which enters one of its final rounds of negotiations in Lima, Peru next week.
Educational events about the TPP taking place in the United States this Saturday include the following:

Other fantastic events in the U.S. over the coming days and weeks will take place in Berekely, CA; Dawson, PA; Detroit, MI; New York, NY; and San Antonio, TX. These follow up on important TPP gatherings that have already taken place this month in Chicago, IL; Phoenix, OR; Tampa, FL and elsewhere.
Our allies throughout the world have also organized protests in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia; a community assembly in Toronto and a speaker's tour throughout British Columbia, Canada; a massive anti-neoliberalism march in Bali, Indonesia (also tied to the WTO); a major TPP demonstration in Tokyo, Japan; an earlier rally in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; a teach-in in Wellington and banner drops in Auckland, New Zealand; and, of course, educational events and a critical rally outside the TPP negotiations themselves in Lima, Peru.
Don't see an event already planned in your community? You can use these pointers to organize one yourself or download and distribute this flyer about the TPP. Everyone in the United States can also make a difference by writing to Congress right now opposing Fast Track for the TPP.
A huge thank you to everyone who has already taken action, and all those who will continue to do so, to prevent a massive corporate power grab that threatens the economy, public health, the environment and more, not only in the United States, but throughout the Pacific Rim and beyond.
Together, we will win!
