I liked how Ed came right out and pledged for it. Pat and I would do the same.
I wonder if other people could chip in $5 or $10 a month to give it shot?

Peace & Justice wants to donate $1000 toward a center for activists and OccupyMendocino, OPC and Move to Amend are interested, but we've been wrangling over the details. One place we found is in the alley behind Headlands for $500 and is very cute, the other is The Bookstore space across from Bernillo's which also has a lot of young people going in;. They serve pizza by the slice at lunch, which is attractive to youth. Bothe locations give us visiblity in the community and a place to do actions, have literature, show films, etc. Get donations if we are known to be doing things. With several groups we share expenses, but no one wants to spend a lot of energy fundraising. I am glad you gave me some feedback. So far, Ed likes the idea and even pledged donations, I like it and am willing to spend time staffing and helping, Zac is part of the original Peace & Justice which is giving us startup money, Char thinks it is not a good use of our energies, Mark has lots of questions about the cost, and I am not sure what Dave, Jim, Judy, Irene and others think. We need to decide so the others know how many are committed to staffing the place and making it work. Ann
