Hello all.
I'm sticking my neck out a little here
Tuesday and Thursday afternoons…starting at 1:00…till about 4:00. .maybe more…but I can commit to that for now.
The commitment is conditional…..related to the amount of money for the overall endeavor.
My assumptions are that there will be at least 4 groups, and we each pay our portion of the rent, electricity, phone, gas. So….the monthly fee is something like $175-$200. I would like there to be a clause about a 6 month trial…or review at the end of 6 months or something similar.
Who will sign the lease…and how long is it?
Do we rent the space in front of the property…the garden area?
Seems like we could accept donations for the space in the location….and then each group could benefit from the generosity of the community to support us all being there. For example, if we collected $100 during the month, and we had 4 groups, we would all pay $25 dollars less that month.

First to commit gets his/her chosen time slot. We can then hang 4-5 signs from the large wooden P&J sign to promote participating groups. When/where is the next Occupy meeting?

If the Ocean Protection Coalition or any other group protecting the environment becomes part of this initial effort, there needs to some space in the name in reference to saving our planet. How about The Community Commons?
