[Occupymendocino] It dawned on me how useful an office space could be (5 AM rambling)

My thoughts on the office space behind Headlands...

We would have a regular meeting place, ongoing contact number and address for our organization.Yeah! 

We could of course meet there and collaborate with the other groups.

We could have direct action events in town, at will.

Have a featured monthly artist display on the walls. Join in on First Friday in FB.

Maybe store signs and display our banner there.

The little entry area could be spiffed up with plants.

Do civic stuff, like clean up the neighborhood and pitch in to help neighbors.

Occasional 99 cent yard sale ( anything sells for 99 cents or what you want to donate).

I think we should go for it, give it a shot.  Price is right, we have the initial funding
and enthusiasm and it is sorely needed.   I talked to one of the previous renters, Roy, and
he had glowing reports about the space and how it works. One good thing is the location
so near the Headlands.  He said he'd donate the sign he had out on the alleyway for us to repaint.
