If it is, doesn't that defeat the purpose of being a visible presence?

      Good News!
Ann Rennacker & I checked out the studio space behind the Headlands today. Great location. $500 1st and last to get in. Electricity & phone extra. 1 big room with hardwood floors-- Bathroom ( toilet & sink ) in a back room--Refrigerator(small)--Some storage in back room.
The idea was to share the space with Move to Amend & Ocean Protection Coalition. Carrie Durkee will check it out & get back to us.
I spoke with John Fremont. He said he could cut the check to get us in the door.
I encourage people to go by there to check it out so we can call a special meeting for a discussion and a vote. Anyone can open the gate and look in the window. It also has a little yard where we could have a planter box and grow something.
The owner is artist Patty Breed who will return on Monday from a trip abroad. She prefers to rent it as a business space, not as a place for someone to live full time. I think it is a great opportunity to move our group to the next level of community activism.

So the next step is to decide where and when to meet anytime after Thursday as Ann &I are going to a fracking workshop in Sacramento on Thursday.
