[Occupymendocino] Senator Wendy Davis, our hero

Senator Wendy Davis is not my hero. My hero would be one who defended the
rights of the most helpless of humans, the babies who aren't seen and
aren't heard and therefore who aren't protected by those who claim to want
to help the defenseless. The basic character and appearance of a person
are determined at the moment of conception when the DNA of that unique
human being is created. Does that person have no rights? And what about
the rights of the 50% of the women who have abortions who are pressured
into having it by boyfriends or parents or others? Have they no rights?
And what about the 20% of the women who have abortions who suffer from
PTSD because of having an abortion? And what about the thousand or so
teenagers and women who commit suicide every year because of stress and
grief of having an abortion?
Does anyone think about these people and their rights?
           Peace and blessings, Ellen
