For those of you referring to the natural cycles of the earth's climate - you are correct. The problem is, these cycles are well-understood and are not the cause of the current warming. The natural cycle would be one of a gradual cooling period. According to the scientific evidence, the cause is the increase of CO2, a known greenhouse gas, caused by (according to the isotopic signature) the burning of fossil fuels. It's not the sun. It's not volcanoes. It's not the natural variation.
