there is no MCTV??? - no public access TV to record Fort Bragg City Council, Board of Supervisors for Coast constituents?? We will lose the vital disinfection of SUNLIGHT shining on process, of public over site of government actions.

Too few people will make major decisions for all of us and we won't realize our losses until it's too late. FB City Council already limits public access and presentation too much for 'true' democratic policy creation but without MCTV, things could get even more narrow.

What is Fort Bragg City Council /doing/ to actively help keep MCTV as a viable community resource?? or the Skunk Train?? or to demand a decent functional junior college on the Coast?? or protect our Senior Center?? or any number of other community resources which are suffering?? The Starr Center is a great success model of private and public partnership - we need more of that to get thru this New Great Depression/Recession.

If there is no action, why not?? What are the priorities of our elected bodies??

It seems too many community icons and resources being undermined by lack of support, action, council attention, coordination of community at large.

Government is /supposed/ to organize and support/subsidize the Commons for the benefit of the many - look at our national and state constitutions and realize the RIGHTS you are being denied. Government has the capacities that individuals and small businesses/organizations do not and cannot muster.

Check out <www.celdf.org> for great community rights plans and actions. Look under the resources section for ordinances put in place by little communities nation-wide to reclaim rights!! Together WE are MIGHTY!!

Let's bring Paul Cienfuegos to Fort Bragg and learn how to reactivate the productive paradigms, successful paths for creating strong community and economies.
