Report to Occupy on presentation to the B.O.S. Jan. 8, 2013

      At 10:00 am Dan Hamburg, newly elected Chairman of the Board, said
he had 10 slips for speakers on the topic of Public Banking and
Eminent Domain and he called Jessie to speak. (She had
told him earlier that she could read faster than anyone else, had
timed it to 8 minutes.) At that point he had said it would be better
to have several people reading for 3 minutes each, could not let
people cede their time if the topic was to be over ten minutes. So several
people were following along as
Jessie read at the podium. The clerk  had his hand on the red light button
but  the green light never went to red until
Jessie finished reading the presentation.Well done,Chairman of the Board.

     I had also spoken to Dan H. at the reception for newly elected
Supervisors,and said that Bruce Anderson, Editor of the AVA, had seen
the letter to the BOS ( he's on
Occupy list serve)and said it was very good and could he print it and
wanted to put it on the AVA website.
      Then Dan H. said, You know the best way to go about this is to ask
two Supervisors to meet with you (plural), talk about it, then it
can be put on the agenda of the BOS. At that time I think, we could have
Marc Armstrong  or Susan Harmon speak about Public Banking and C.J. about
E.D.

When we get the date for a meeting in Boonville we'll let you know. And
when it gets on the Agenda we hope you'll all be there again.
We need to contact Dan Gjerde and Dan Hamburg and arrange a date
convenient to them both, first.
