Mark,

The term mainstream media is inaccurate. The proper term is the corporate media (see http://www.commoncause.org/site/pp.asp?c=dkLNK1MQIwG&b=4923173). There are six mega corporations that own most of the TV stations, Cable TV networks, newspapers, magazines, textbook companies, movie studios, radio stations etc etc. The corporate version of reality is making US citizens some of the most ignorant in the industrialized. Please stop using that inaccurate label mainstream for what is corporate. Corporate does not = mainstream. Mainstream is most of the folks in the US.
