[Occupymendocino] Reminder: Mendo Coast Transition Towns Mtg 4/27 - Community Resource Mapping

Hello fellow Occupiers!

I just want to be sure that everyone is aware of the Community Resource Mapping event that will be held in Mendo on April 27th, from 2 pm to 5 pm.
I feel it is important that Occupy folks come to this meeting for more reasons than the Community Commons alone.

Hi, all, 
Seems like everyone is excited about having a center; it is exciting and I love all the ideas Richard presented about what the center could be. And I love Ed's name for it--The Community Commons. It's the most inclusive name I've heard so far.

However, I'm not excited about fundraising constantly to make it all happen (that's not where I want to put my energy). I can pay $10 monthly but would donate the money to Move to Amend, as Carrie is carrying this on her own (and I'm a member of both groups).

So I'm hanging back with "next steps" and will jump back in once decisions are finalized and a plan is in place.
