Agnes report:   
Petitions: Community Bank, To Susan Assessor.  Dan Hamburg and other sup to fund an audit of securitized loans. Hamburg wanted to know how many foreclosures in County. Foreclosure letters sent out.  Assemblyman Caine, 80 % found illegal or fraudulent. Agnes and Jssie & Agnes going to a banking institute, a national organization in June 2,3,4. On PBS.org. Gave a report about the need to have a lawyer, asked Steve Antler- he needed more time to study it.
Note about lawyer from Agnes:  
" Occupy Mendocino has a willing lawyer who needs informations about securitized loans because JOhn Kakaye , CEO of  EDFC, who made a presentation at Board of Supervisors, which included funding for public banking... If we got a statement on a lawyer's letterhead reassuring him the BOS and  the County treasurer  that using EU on sec. mortgages be of low risk to lawsuits by the bank. Attorney Steve Antler was not prepared to make such a statement unless he does research. Would  you be able to advise him of references cases where he could find proof,  and a definition of Securitized Mortgages. "

Sheila talked about petition tabling, and how she got signatures today. We need to get out there. 

Mark and Jessie going to Dan M  to see if he wants to go to the institute workshop.
Homeless report: Sheila.  Talked to someone from Hud about what city or county is doing. Not much of a program to put people into housing at the moment. She will follow through.
Claire asked about Hospitality House. Sheila said how they gave them the cold shoulder. And Agnes went to Love in Action and no one showed up for foreclosure meeting. Sheila:Contact city about a security deposit for homeless. Discussion about having a 
Claire and Sheila could goto city hall to find out about sec deposit possibilities. Sheila will get back to Claire. Term to use instead of Homeless.  (People in Transition???)
Agnes: Bank Tax on Savings article. FDIC bank deposit guarantee might not be covered and they will do what they tried to do it in Cyprus.  Tax up to 60% of our savings.
Should we send out letter to our email list.  Didn't decide.  Agnes: alert everyone somehow.  It has been in the planning
but is not a law. Richard will help Agneslooking into this issue even more and come back with a an action plan. Could effect many of us.

Treasurer's report:   $852 and change.  (Richard didn't have any more come in.)

Mark on tech:  Don't send OM address around.  RK:  Be very careful to not send our address because we can get back spam. Cinnamon updated meeting time pages on occuypmendocino.net .  It is good as information link. Has our pictures, videos, contact meeting, rally info. Facebook good for putting articles and Richard will place them for people who are not "Facebookies" , 

OM Office Committee Report:
John asked if people had plan to live in the office. No. Rk not happy. Insulted by the lack of trust and not getting comitment from John & Zac.  Linda:  Doesn't  agree with Richard. Thanked John.  
Linda: Did we come to conclusion that Office space was just too costly for us to undertake because too expensive?  Many people commented that this true case unless we got a real high profile location (Mark)
Sheila: Voiced that we should keep the idea open because it is a way to educate the public. 
She suggested putting  on list serve that OM is looking for a office space.  Sheila will place on list serve.

Spitirted discussion by Rk and Sheila over poster. Richard does't want his logo to be used without thought and oversight. He says he made/owns logo and wants to have some say as to how it is used. Richard showed poster he started for poster to sell.  We will bring up who 'owns' logo at next meeting.
Richard  Brought up Fracking as an issue that we encompass in Occupy to join in with Ann's effort with OPC to educate.  
Ann gave a report about Fracking in state and in ocean. 
Richard made a motion asking for people to join Ann for a Fracking committee. Anne, Richard and Sheila agreed to help.

Ad:  Smart meter issue in Sebastopol another issue.   Claire reports on how she is being forced to pay extra after they installed one. She will fight it.  Maybe a committee formed to look into Smart Meters???
KNYO  wants to have someone come on and speak on a radio show. Sheila will contact radio station.
