Subject: Foreclosure Town Hall venue, equipment and postage fundraiser

As of now, activists in 12 more cities have expressed interest in scheduling a Foreclosure Town Hall in their area! Special thanks to each of them. A caller from New York asked if the Foreclosure Town Hall would work there and the answer is: YES! Foreclosure Town Hall solutions will work everywhere in the United States. Pass the word.

Due to the great interest in scheduling town halls, here are the venue requirements:

Seating for as many as are expected to attend:

Churches

School auditoriums

Equipment:

Microphone system

Projector screen for presentations

Podium to hold laptop

Table for projector (I have a projector)

Electrical cord

Plan approx 3 hours of use:

½ hr setting up

1.5 hr for presentations

30 min Q&A

½ putting things away

MOST IMPORTANT:

Please make a priority to get all county supervisors there including their staff, the county attorney(s), county recorder, and as many local citizens as possible. I am preparing a 3m speech to be read at supervisor meetings along with succinct handouts specifically for the supervisors. Please help push everyone in the community to attend this foreclosure solution presentation and explanation.

It is also imperative we get as many owners facing foreclosure to the town halls as possible. That's over 120k owners, so I've started a postage fund raiser to mail out information to each of them about the town halls.

Foreclosure Town Halls - firm dates if listed:

San Bernardino: 10/20

Fresno: 10/27
Santa Barbara:

Napa:

Davis:

Fremont:

Berkeley:

Hayward:

Santa Rosa:

San Jose:

Richmond:

Oakland:

Pasadena:

Please let me know if you can help to get any of these or other Foreclosure Town Halls established.

Thanks, cj
