The Facilitator for September 15th ( 3rd Sat.) will be Agnes. Please send future agenda items to agnes at mcn.org.  
We meet in the Board Room of the Senior Center.
Parade:
Richard gave a report on progress of parade props, transportation, volunteers needed, SEIU participants 12 to join us. Sheila , Dan and Agnes will come early to help with signs on car, etc. MCTV has funds from a generous donor-you know who- to film the parade with OM. Volunteers needed to carry the OM banner. 
Ananda volunteered to contact Linda for the members list so that 
Sheila, Agnes, Irene and Dan who volunteered to contact and invite absent OM members to join our contingent in the parade.
Urgent request of Richards :please, members, send a response to his emails asking for input and feedback as a courtesy.

Foreclosure committe report--unavilable.

Technical: Sheila reported on the production of the DVD about the Occupy Mendocino Street Fair for MCETV, minor adjustments to be made, credits needed at the end.

Developing needs of Occupy: Howard felt that a few spokespersons were needed for OM.like an ad hoc co-ordinating committee, a phone tree need, a list of volunteers to write monthly letters to the editor to keep us visible. 
 Frank, the FB Advocate reporter, has been contacted re a suggested point of view to cover the horizontal organization of  Occupy Mendocino. 
Publicity needs: Make a leaflet listing OM actions for interested, potential members.
HousngCom. Report: Ananda reported that any citizen can fill out a city form called a "Request for Public Records" to petition the city for alternative housing other than Hosptality House.  More information is needed in view of an expected influx of homeless and other people on probation.  St. Michaels Church has a shelter in the fall and winter months with alimited capacity. The Housing Com. will network with Reps and Dems to ask what is their position on foreclosures and growing homeless population. Ananda proposed an executive com. to have an agenda item on the next GA meeting for discussion.No volunteers spoke up.

Announment:  The one year Birthday Celebration for the Occupy Movement at the end of the Sept.15th GA meeting in the Board Room of the Sr. Center . Please bring something to share as well as eating utensils if possible.please RSVP to Agnes so we know how big a cake we need.
