[Occupymendocino] Fw: Town Hall meeting date?

Occupiers at the Friday bank vigil   got copies of the letter from CJ concerning foreclosure.   Please come to the Tues. the 16th BOS meeting at our F.B. Town Hall to hear and support my message regarding our call for a Foreclosure Town Hall Meeting-date to be announced.

CJ has sent me the requirements below. This Tuesday in F.B. at 10:00 am I may need someone to sign a card to speak and cede me their 3 minutes so I can finish reading my notes.
              Mark, please put FTH on the GA agenda for this Satuday  the 20th (3rd at. at Sr. Ctr.) so we can plan a date and a venue in early November which can meet CJ's requirements. See below.

This week and next week are pretty booked (16, 18, 20, 21, 24, 27).

Maybe week after that?  evening is fine, or weekend is open.  Let me know what date and I'll get it on the calendar.  Here is the FTH requirements.  Thanks for all your efforts and support.  cj

 

Seating for as many as are expected to attend:

Churches

School auditoriums

 

Equipment:

Microphone system

Projector screen for presentations

Podium to hold laptop

Table for projector (I have a projector)

Electrical cord

Table at door for donations and name tags

 

Plan approx 3 hours of use:

½ hr setting up

1.5 hr for presentations

30 min Q&A

½ putting things away

 

MOST IMPORTANT:

Please make a priority to get all county supervisors there including their staff, the county attorney(s), county recorder, and as many local citizens as possible.

Hi C.J.,

        Occupy Mendocino plans to go to the Board of Supervisors meeting which is planned for Tuesday Oct. 16th in Fort Bragg. I plan to read your letter which has no date for a Foreclosure town Hall  meeting  with you.  We have begun to put up flyers and will notify press and radio. Need to know a date you would be available. BOS usually meet on Tuesdays in Ukiah.Occupy Ukiah is now dormant. Should we put a tentative date or none on the Foreclosure Town Hall ?

p.s. A good part of OM is occupied with election phone baking now. I expect more support after Nov. 6th. Like you I feel this can't wait.  People are being shut out of their homes.
