Pentagon Papers whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg is deeply concerned about the threats to attack Iran. He says "it is crucial that we voice our opposition before it is too late," and he's urging us to sign the petition described in my note below.

            Ten years ago, in the streets of Baghdad, I saw people of all ages and thought: “Will my country bomb you?”

            The same question was on my mind years later when I spoke with hundreds of people from all walks of life in Tehran.

            Now, many journalists are reporting that a military attack on Iran is likely -- within months.

            Please add your name to a petition that has been endorsed by the Iranian human rights activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner Shirin Ebadi.

            The petition says: "We call upon the leaders of the governments of the United States and Israel to end their threats of launching a military attack on Iran. Instead, leaders should engage in genuine diplomatic dialogue. We unequivocally oppose any attack on Iran."

            Few politicians in this country are speaking up clearly and unequivocally against a military attack on Iran. So it’s all the more important for us to speak out now.
