Report to Occupy on the public expression referring to 2 items on the
BOS's Agenda. Nov. 6, 2012.
Jessie and Sheila were unable to make it. Ann Renneker spoke to the
item "Update on North Coast Marine Protected Area"

Ann Renneker and I drove to Ukiah to the Board of Supervisors with the
intention to speak at the public expression time. Due to some
miscommunication between Sheila and I, she was not with us as
planned,regretfully.
I spoke to the agenda item" Federal Budget Sequestation Sources"
meaning cutbacks in social programs. this is the content of my viewpoint.

Good Morning Members of the Board of Supervisors, My name
is Agnes Woolsey. Thankyou for this opportunity to speak to you
regarding the Federal Finds Sequestation Program. ie. Federal Cuts to
social programs, some of which bring federal funds, like cuts to
medicare, Head Start and Medical. This means that billions of dollars
would be cut-
Cuts impacting the state will also impact the county-as you well know.
Occupy is concerned about people displaced by foreclosures. This puts a
burden on County Social Services. Occupy has solutions to foreclosures
which cause loss of county taxes on foreclosed property which lie vacant
and turn to blight effecting real estate values and lowers tax rates in
the neighborhood. For example a house on Palette Drive near mine has
been vacant for 2 years or more. Property values go down in the
neighborhood and so do the property taxes .

Occupy offers solutions which could increase the revenue stream flowing
to the county with the use of eminent domain by the county, establishing
a public bank and requiring the Recorder to send Affidavits of
Truthfulness to the foreclosing entity. For details see the websites
listed on the back of this sheet.

We invite you to come to Fort Bragg to a Foreclosure Town Hall meeting,
November 16th at 6:00 pm at the Methodist Church, 360 N. Corry Street.
C.J. Holmes, moderator has several important solutions that are being
practiced in other states.

Thank-you for your attention.
