My letter to the Press Democrat:

Dear Editor,  I was happy to finally see the NRA make a response to the recent school killings.  I think their idea to employ guards does have some merits, mainly to put more people to work.  I think the NRA should take it a step further, however.  This would be to fund bullet proof wardrobes for all school children. Think of the opportunities to put even more people to work.  Also an additional 10# - 20#  so added to each child's wardrobe would strengthen and thin their bodies down. I could see whole line of bullet proof iPods . ,iPads and hats coming out of this too. Maybe the fad would catch on to other age groups.
