The ironic thing is that Art and Technology was initially suppressed by the
Company.
For example, Ken Knowlton's ASCII Art was disavowed as having come from
Bell Labs
until it wound up being reviewed in the New York Times after being
exhibited in a New York
gallery. They only support Art (visualization) when it winds up on the
cover of the NYT
(Nature).
