A general overview of Wolfram Technology. What started as the Mathematica
System for Doing Mathematics by Computer in 1985
has grown into an integrated suite of computational knowledge tools
on-line. Stewart Dickson, who has had a relationship with
Wolfram Research since 1989 will guide you through the myriad (and fun!)
ways in which you can try out Wolfram Computational Knowledge
without buying Mathematica! The presentation will show you some of the
behind-the-scenes ways in which data from your electronic
neighborhood winds up in Wolfram|Alpha. Stewart will also tell the story
of his history with Wolfram Research, which nearly spans the
entire history of the company itself.
