SCADA Remote Tank Monitoring from B&B SmartWorx & SeeControl
B+B SmartWorx and SeeControl have developed a SCADA remote tank
monitoring system to unlock useful, actionable insight from raw data.
The monitoring system provides continuous monitoring and data analytics
for complete visibility into operations and status at multiple remote
sites from a single platform. The web-based monitoring system can
predict and prevent system failures.

Cost-efficient sealed sleeve fans from Orion Fans and Future
Electronics
Sealed sleeve fans perform like a ball-bearing fan, but at half the
cost. With a longer life expectancy than sleeve bearing fans (up to
50,000 hours), sealed sleeve fans are designed for volume requirements
in high performance applications. Available in the most popular DC frame
sizes from 40mm to 120mm, the sealed sleeve fans deliver airflows up to
105 CFM.

The market research firm Gartner Group claims it has quantified the use
of the term "Internet of Things" and has concluded that the use of this
buzzword in society has probably peaked. In the midst of the IoT
hyperbole, a recent IoT development went largely unnoticed.
September marked a meeting of the TSensors Summit. The "T" in TSensors
stands for trillion. TSummits serve as forums for what might be called
sensor visionaries. These visionaries present ideas on sensor
applications and manufacturing platforms that could make possible sensor
shipments measured in the trillions within a decade.

Low-power RF synthesizer enhances radio sensitivity and dynamic range
Texas Instruments LMX2571 low-power wideband radio frequency (RF)
synthesizer covers up to 1.34 GHz, and integrates an ultra-low-noise
PLLatinum fractional-N phase-locked loop (PLL) with a multicore
voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO), enabling low phase noise and spurs
at 39 mA (128 mW).
