If you are deeply offended turn it off. I for one like to hear
all the different perspectives that Dan plays on his short wave
report.

Who are you to censor what I can and can not listen to. Pretty
soon, if you have your way we can all listen to the canned music
coming from KMFB.

I have read many of your pieces and find them interesting and
informative. Perhaps you could do a few on the positive things
that are happening here on the Coast. Things are not as simple
and black and white as you present them. It is always easier to
find fault with what others are doing but it is a whole lot harder
to come up with some positive solutions to any of the many
problems we face as a society and as a community.

Become part of the solution and stop being part of the problem !!

Thank you.

Janie,

I didn't make any accusations. I merely stated the obvious;
that Dan Roberts broadcasts state sponsored Russian propaganda
on KZYX. And in spite of Russia's recent meddling in our
elections with propaganda, he continues to do so. Some people
are deeply offended by that. I'm one of them.

Jim Heid made a good point with his link to the 2015 article
about how benign Russian propaganda was thought to be two
years ago. But things have changed since then.

I've listened to Jeff Blankfort and Maria Guardian before. I
just can't do it anymore. When I tune KZYX in, all I hear are
people who are indirectly holding the coat of the worst
president in American history. Along with the man who controls
him, Vladimir Putin. They're not doing that on purpose.
They've been manipulated into doing it. I'm not saying they're
bad people. And I'm not saying they can't do that with their
own resources. But I don't think that U.S. taxpayer funded
airwaves are the right place to do it. Especially now.

So from now on, I'll be taking down the names of all KZYX
underwriters -- including the Corporation for Public
Broadcasting. I'll be contacting them directly and personally.
I'll be withholding all support for them. And I'll be calling
on everyone I know to do the same. That's democracy in action.

Sincerely,

>I find your accusations of longtime, faithful and creative programmer Dan
Roberts--really off the wall. Although you apparently have been taken in by
the "blaming Russian" hype, there are many of us serious folks who are not .
.some of them KZYX programmers also. Do you ever listen to Takes On The
World by Jeff Blankfort--long time programmer? You should tune in for a
show or two - -you might learn something.
How about Maria Gulardian on TUC radio? Who also creates her show on her
own dime, same as Dan Roberts and also asks for donations. . .? These are
highly respected longtime programmers whose shows are heard throughout the
country.
