Dear Mr. Heid,

I don't recall meeting you, but I know who you are. Like many people around here, you're a big shot from somewhere else. I'm a lowly native. A graduate of Mendocino High School. And Mendocino Elementary School before that. My mom was on the school board
that hired another out-of-town big shot named Bill Zacha to teach art classes here in the late 1950s. My dad built the scale model of Mendocino that's exhibited in the Ford House Museum in Mendocino today. It's been there since 1990. And the Mendocino Volunteer
Fire Department sign. It's been there since 1960. Dad made it and hung it. I don't recall seeing your parents doing anything like that here.

Character means everything to me, Mr. Heid. The questions you vilify Mr. Sakowicz for were started by me. Yes, me. I found the rotten Form 990s with the language 'No review was or will be conducted (by the governing board).' I reported it to KZYX's GM, who
ignored the warning. And again to the Board of Directors, who also ignored the warning. That was three and a half years ago, Mr. Heid. My warning finally wound up in the Anderson Valley Advertiser here:

http://theava.com/archives/24569

Mr. Sakowicz was the only board member to respond to that warning. He tried -- and failed -- to gain the board's attention over that. Again and again. But nonetheless, he tried. And he did it in public. I don't recall seeing any such warnings from you. I
realize that you're very smart. But at the same time, I don't believe you have a backbone, Mr. Heid. Which makes your opinion irrelevant. At least to me.

If you got your head out of your technology -- for just a few minutes -- and looked through MCPB's Form 990s, you'd see the warning signs. That MCPB has lost over 75% of its net worth over the past eight years. All of that was enabled by spineless people,
Mr. Heid.

That Mr. Sakowicz wins or loses is irrelevant here. MCPB is in a death spiral today. All because of abusive people like Mr. Gregory. and out-of-town big shots like you.

Sincerely,

That a board candidate for a community radio station would make a post like that on a public forum speaks volumes about his character and his motives.
John, please attempt to earn my vote by explaining why that link was a necessary part of public discourse.
