At least for a while.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>You can see that in their Form 990s here:</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><a href="http://nccsweb.urban.org/communityplatform/nccs/organization/profile/id/942800886/popup/1" target="_blank">http://nccsweb.urban.org/communityplatform/nccs/organization/profile/id/942800886/popup/1</a></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>They had that policy until 2013. Then dropped it like a hot rock. Didn't</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>anyone tell you about that? I understand that your 'partner' was on the</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>board there for six years. Three of them as president. Didn't he tell you</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>about that? That was back when presidents didn't put much time into</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>the Botanical Gardens. If any. And public support all but vanished. That</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>all changed when your 'partner' left. Now they're pulling down a hefty</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>six figures a year. And the president puts in ten hours a week. Didn't he</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>tell you about that? Huh. How many hours do you put in at KZYX? Oh,</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>that's right. Zero.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Back to the policy of hiding Form 990s. MCPB did it with the following</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>language: "No review was or will be conducted." Sound familiar? Yeah.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>It's the exact same language that's on MCPB Form 990s. For five years</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>running. Didn't he tell you about that?</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Speaking of Form 990s. MCPB's Form 990 for 2014/15 is a little bit past</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>due. Normally, nonprofit Form 990s are due four-and-a-half months </div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>from the close of their fiscal year. Which would be October 15. And the</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>maximum extension is six months. Putting MCPB's drop-dead due date</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>at April 15. That'll be two months ago tomorrow. Hiding Form 990s from</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>your organization is one thing. Hiding them from the IRS is something </div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>else entirely.</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Your 'partner' made his filing deadline at Fort Bragg Seniors, Inc.
