I witnessed the incident. I was aghast when Board Chair Elianne Herring dismissed the incident as a "he said-she said thing." Aghast..Shocked. I guess under Chair Herring's logic many, if not most, rape cases would never be investigated, because they are "he said-she said things."</div><div><br></div><div>Something else. The credibility of the woman who was the victim in this spitting incident is unimpeachable. She is an artist with a national reputation, and she has been on the salaried staff of a public radio station in a major metropolitan market.</div><div><br></div><div>At Monday's, July 7th, Board meeting, at 6 p..m., at the Willits Public Library on Commercial Street, I will be bringing up the incident without mentioning the perpetrator by name. I will not be shut up. I will not be silenced. I have to know why not one Board member has called the victim of this disgusting and humiliating incident.</div><div><br></div><div>John Sakowicz</div><div><br></div><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000"><div style="color:#000;font-weight:normal;font-style:normal;text-decoration:none;font-family:Helvetica,Arial,sans-serif;font-size:12pt;"><div style="font-family: Arial; font-size: 12pt; color: #000000"><br></div></div><div><br></div></div></div><div><br></div></div></div><div><br></div></div></div><div><br></div></div></body></html>
