Memo of the Air: Good Night Radio, 9pm to 5am tonight on 107.7fm KNYO 
Fort Bragg (and 105.1fm KMEC Ukiah, and via KNYO.org), live and in your 
ear from KNYO's somewhat-still-Halloween-festooned studios at 325 N. 
Franklin, next door to the Tip Top bar.

Visit KNYO if you're in town after 9pm tonight, but bring a project or 
an idea to show off. Something to show and tell, something to read, 
something to celebrate or bitch about. Deadline to /email/ your writing 
to be read on the air tonight is 6pm or so. If you're not done by then, 
send it whenever and I'll get it when I get home from the radio station 
tomorrow morning and read it on the air next week.  Or phone tonight and 
read your work in your own voice: 962-3022.

Four white cops in a train station handcuff and arrest a black man, who 
seems bemused and not at all surprised anymore that it's all about his 
sandwich. The compounding offense seems to be that he will not show them 
his papers. If you're a sensitive soul, it's safe for you to look at 
this; they don't shoot him or electrocute him or strangle him to death. 
Still, it's a drag and not at all the America we signed up for, I think 
you'll agree.
