MOTA: Good Night Radio tonight!
Tonight, Friday, June 21, from 9pm to 5am I'm reading Memo of the Air by
live remote from Juanita's apartment, /not/ from the back room of the
KNYO performance space at 325 N. Franklin, next door to the Tip Top bar,
so consider showing-and-telling at KNYO /next/ week, June 28, when I'll
be there rather than here.
Deadline to get your writing on the air tonight is around 7pm. If you're
not done then, email it whenever and I'll save it and read it on the
show next time. As usual I've got plenty of material ready in case you
slack off. A little more material than usual lifted from the Anderson
Valley Advertiser's website https://TheAVA.com because of the ever
improving quality of work there and real community participation by all
types and shapes and sizes and levels of brilliance and reason and/or
comical bigotry and creepy emotional impairment, for the example. To
document the zeitgeist, or weltschmerz, or pareidolia, or nostalgic
pastoral schmaltz. Not least, to knock the mighty and otherwise
unassailable down a peg and lend the oppressed a hand up. A noble endeavor.
Memo of the Air: Good Night Radio: Every Friday, 9pm to 5am on 107.7fm
KNYO-LP Fort Bragg, and 105.1fm KMEC-LP Ukiah. Also there and anywhere
else via http://knyo.org and click on Listen.
And you can always go to https://MemoOfTheAir.wordpress.com and hear
last week's show, and shows before that. By Saturday night, tonight's
MOTA will also be there, right on top.
Here are a few buttons to idly flick at while you wait for tonight:
Not that you exist. Because you don't.

The universally beloved constructor of robots Simone Giertz (say
YEERTS), fully cured of brain cancer --YAY, SCIENCE!-- chopped a
brand-new Tesla into a pickup truck. (30 min.) (And then follow the link
to the pickup truck ad.)

Australian ingenuity. "Then when the party's over and the food's all
cooked and the ice is all melted, you just push /flush/ and it puts the
fire out."

And sometimes you just hit it off.
