MOTA: Good Night Radio tonight!

Tonight, Friday, July 19, from 9pm to 5am I'm reading Memo of the Air by
live remote from Juanita's apartment, /not/ from the back room of the
KNYO performance space at 325 N. Franklin, next door to the Tip Top bar,
so consider showing-and-telling at KNYO /next/ week, July 26, when I'll
(probably*) be there rather than here.

*A shitload of life-scheduling things are jockeying for space lately.
I'll let you know if anything changes.

Regardless, deadline to get your writing on the air tonight is around
7pm. If you're not done then, email it whenever and I'll save it and
read it on the show next time. I've got a very full show tonight as
usual, so do it right, be satisfied, send it and relax, in that order.
Or not. You're the boss of you.

Memo of the Air: Good Night Radio: Every Friday, 9pm to 5am on 107.7fm
KNYO-LP Fort Bragg, and 105.1fm KMEC-LP Ukiah. Also there and anywhere
else via http://knyo.org and click on Listen.

And you can always go to https://MemoOfTheAir.wordpress.com and hear
last week's show, and shows before that. By Saturday night, tonight's
MOTA will also be there, right on top.

Here's a Whitman's sampler of not-necessarily radio-useful items, to
nibble the corner off and just spit it out if it's ossified coconut
shreds inside instead of wonderful tooth-filling-pulling caramel, and
then move on to the next, while you wait for tonight:

Charted moon impacts.

One very important, very slow moon impact. Real sound, reconstructed video.

You know about my thing for the 1936 Talbot-Lago but, Jesus, look at
this: the 1938 Phantom Corsair! When they make  /real/ flying cars, with
/real/ antigravity tech, this is the outline, right here.

And they're making Phillip Pullman's /His Dark Materials/ books into a
teevee series that'll be out in just a few weeks. The trailer looks
great! See for yourself:
