MOTA: Good Night Radio tonight!

Tonight, 9pm to about 5am, I'm doing Memo of the Air from the KNYO
performance space at 325 N. Franklin, next door to the Tip Top bar, so
waltz in like you own the place, head for the lighted room at the back,
and show-and-tell, or do your act, or talk about your project, or read
from your own work, or really whatever. Or you can call it in. The
number at the station is 707-962-3022. (If you call, try to listen for a
moment before you do, so I'm not in the middle of someone's long story.)

There's always a lot of recorded and written material to play and read
to you, enough to go the whole time even if no-one calls or shows up,
which has, on occasion, happened, but right now you still have a little
time to email your writing to be read on MOTA (deadline is generally
around five or six p.m. the night of the show) and even more time for
next week. Just paste your poem or material desire or essay or kvetch or
conspiracy theory or harrowing MeToo story into the body text of an
email, check that it's going to me and not also to the whole group,
unless that's what you want, and press send.

I've got a story by Ellie Cooney, another one of Rich Alcott's man (or
woman) on the street interviews, Flynn Washburne on the subject of
addiction, David Gurney on civility, plenty of poetry both local and
outsourced, tales of lies, blackmail and murder; not to mention notice
of an exciting new feature of PornHub involving other-abled
accessibility, in case that's what inflates your hovercraft (or drops
your three-toed sloth in a bucket of water).

Memo of the Air: Good Night Radio: Every Friday, 9pm to 5am on 107.7fm
KNYO-LP Fort Bragg, and 105.1fm KMEC-LP Ukiah*. And also there and
anywhere else via http://knyo.org

*Except not KMEC tonight, again. The new replacement equipment and
software at KMEC that grabs the stream of MOTA from wherever it's
originating and puts it on the air in Ukiah is not quite up and running
yet. I'm told that'll be together by next week for sure. So it'll just
be KNYO the Little Lion in Fort Bragg tonight, and that's fine. I'll
take it.
