It’s true that I’ve lived here for only about 30 years. I’m a newbie.

Of course, because you know me so well, you know I’ve had aunts, uncles, and cousins from Mendocino County dating back to the mid-1930s, that my sister was born in Willits, that a niece grew up there, and that a cousin was a civil engineer who designed much of Highway 1’s improvements in the 30s.

Not that being a “native" has anything to do with anything. Especially character.

I’m still waiting for John’s answer as to why sharing that link should make me vote for him.
