[Kzyxtalk] Community Action Request

Dear KZYXtalk Readers,


For the last umpteen years, a group of self-serving individuals POSING as trustees have taken over Mendocino County's only high-power FM radio station, KZYX.


As you may know, certain individuals have opposed this takeover, and have been vilified for it. Many of them are contributors on KZYXtalk. Also, I've been researching KZYX's public filings -- that certain individuals have tried to keep private -- to see what's been going on. Thanks to an unnamed source, we now know. A quick look at the Form 990 public filings tells all: nearly six figures in radio broadcasting equipment has gone missing. Something that currently amounts to the entire net worth of KZYX!!!


The next KZYX board meeting is scheduled for Monday, March 6, 2017 at the Fort Bragg Senior Center at 6pm. I plan to be there with a flip chart to demonstrate what I've found. My presentation will probably be overwhelmed with the usual applause crowd, but there's an outside chance it won't.
