The station sent out a press release a week or two ago. I don’t know which media outlets picked it up, but a quick web search shows several, including the AVA, have run it.

According to the press release, Jeffrey Parker is the interim GM until the board votes in January:

> Mendocino County Public Broadcasting is pleased to announce the appointment of Jeffrey Parker, a veteran newsman, media pioneer, publisher and social entrepreneur, as Interim Executive Director and General Manager of KZYX radio.  Parker will take up the post on December 1, succeeding Diane Hering. At its next meeting in early January, the KZYX board plans to vote to make Parker a formal offer of the position of permanent Executive Director and General Manager.


I don’t think the release ran on the KZYX website, which is buckling under the weight of a cumbersome content management system. There was discussion at the board meeting in Point Arena about a switch to a new web platform.
