Have you ever heard Tim Gregory's late-night show on KZYX? Pure nonsense. Total gibberish. Incoherent. The ramblings of the deranged, the self-important, and the very stoned on pot all rolled into one show. Gregory''s show sounds like it was produced by a homeless lunatic who was recently paroled out of Atascadero State Hospital (DOC) and who is now living in a cardboard box under the Perkins Street bridge -- hence the name of the show, "Cardboard Prison Radio".

Meanwhile, yesterday, on my show at KMEC my guest was a U.S. ambassador and a former special envoy to Iraq.. (We had thousands of online listeners.) And Marco McClean did five hours of really excellent programming this week on KNYO, as he consistently does for every show.

as long as two classes of membership exist at MCPB, this is what we can expect .. 


no disrespect to Mr. Gregory here .. he's a programmer who wants to keep his show .. and his standing in the 


programmer class .. by defending the status quo .. and attacking Mr. Sakowicz .. 


this ingratiates him to those currently in power .. Mr. Gregory has no reason to defend Mr. Sakowicz .. and 


every reason to attack him .. 


and 'the fold' Mr. Gregory speaks of comes at great cost .. mostly psychic .. by putting up with the 'cronyism' 


and 'nastiness' Mr. Van Hall spoke of .. and even joining in once in a while .. like Mr. Gregory did here .. 


Mr. Van Hall -- on the other hand -- has no such dog in the fight .. 


even if the man says nothing else .. those two words -- cronyism and nastiness -- speak volumes of the forces 


at work on KZYX today ..
